The Cost of Tribal Tattoos
Introduction
There are certain observable trends with tribal tattoos. A trend does not have to be present across all stores, but it does have to be present in enough stores in order to be used as a way to predict how a random store will react. The trend with tribal tattoos is that they tend to be more expensive than normal tattoos. There are many reasons for this.
Time Spent
With an average tattoo, the artist can be done in a few minutes. With something like a tribal tattoo however, even the smallest ones are intricate enough that the artist will have to spend a much longer period of time getting things done. That in turn will naturally translate to a larger fee being charged because of the extra time spent.
Tattoo Intricacy
It is true that the intricacy of a tribal tattoo will translate into a higher fee because of the extra time spent doing it. However, the intricacy will increase the fee again simply because a larger amount of skill is required in order to do the tattoo. This means that the artist doing it is more skilled and because of that will command a larger fee.

Artist Rarity
Even though artists that can do tribal tattoos are not really that rare anymore since the demand has increased in recent years, there are still some places that will only have one or two on staff. Since the time of these artists is very valuable due to the rarity of the skill, once again you have the potential for the price to increase as a result.
Conclusion
It may be possible to find tribal tattoos around you that can be had for the same price as their normal counterparts, so definitely search around. However, don’t be surprised if you end up paying more money to get them once all is said and done.
